Don't Call It a Comeback
Boy, has this been a long time coming. Last May when I decided to take a break from my website, I figured it would be pretty short - maybe a month or a season at most. Things got a little out of hand. In the meantime, life happened and quite a bit at that.
I spent time with family and friends, relishing the good life. I got a new camera, celebrated another year of life, and completely refurnished my bedroom. I didn't move, I didn't learn to drive, and I didn't meet that special someone. But that's okay - everything in its time.
You may be asking what this new site will entail. And to be honest, I'm not quite sure yet ... but I suspect more than anything that it will be a perpetual work in progress. (As always.) This time, however, I promise not to take everything down and start fresh again just because I need a break. I know it's bad form, and I'm slowly learning just how bad.
Some things to note: the paint is still very fresh. Many sections of the site are still under heavy construction (most notably the archives), but pretty much everything else will probably undergo a fair bit of tweaking in the next few weeks and months. If you see something broken or otherwise acting up, feel free to drop a line.
Other than that, welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay.
